Study Rooms

Study Rooms

There is one large and two small study rooms at the library.  They were created for the use of patrons who want a quiet place to study or do work away from the normal distractions of the Library.  These patrons take precedence over those who intend to use the room for business purposes.

The rooms can be booked in advance according to the following rules:

  1. Rooms may only be booked for a maximum of two hours per day and you may only book one room at a time.  You may stay longer if no one needs the room but pleased be advised that you will be asked to move if the room is needed.
  2. If you book a room and do not arrive within 15 minutes of the time allotted, the booking will be cancelled.
  3. Because the large study room is meant for groups, you will be asked to move if only two people are using the space and a larger group needs it.

Note:  The rooms can be used without booking if they are not already in use and there is no reservation notice on the door.  If all of the study rooms are in use, you are welcome to use the community rooms if they are also not in use or reserved.
